This article explains that educators should use digital photography within the classroom, allowing students to discover their own world through investigation.

As a future educator, I would highly consider using digital cameras for educational purposes, such as documenting student projects, as well as student progress. Teachers can take photos of projects, document field trips and other class activities throughout the year. These pictures can later be displayed to the students, parents, and staff to show how much the children have accomplished over the year.
